About the data
What it is
Every Texas business that sells mixed drinks files a monthly mixed beverage gross receipts report with the Texas Comptroller. These filings are public record. Pourcast collects every filing, matches each permit to a venue, and publishes the figures venue by venue.
Coverage
55,000+ venues since 2007, every county in Texas.
What is included and excluded
Included: liquor, wine, beer and cooler sales, as reported by each permit holder. Excluded: food, merchandise, and any sales the venue did not report. Venues without a mixed beverage permit do not file and do not appear.
Update cadence
The Comptroller publishes filings monthly. Pourcast loads new filings daily and refreshes these pages after each monthly load. Recent months can be revised as late filings arrive.
